Together with the Toolziit association, we are opening a special place in Thusis for our Wüssenswerk families: a makerspace, coworking space, creative workshop and meeting place for working, building, experimenting, learning or simply spending time together.
For a symbolic membership fee of CHF 45 per year, Wüssenswerk families gain access to this community and a place that is much more than a traditional workshop. Families with a longer school journey can make good use of their time: work on a laptop, relax in the lounge, make something together or bring a personal project to life.
The space is designed for largely independent use and is available around the clock, seven days a week.
The makerspace offers many possibilities and professional tools: traditional woodwork and metalwork, laser cutting and engraving, CNC milling, woodturning, sawing, drilling, sanding, welding and screen printing. Here, ideas can become real objects.

If you are not building something, there are coworking desks, monitors, a whiteboard, flipchart and other equipment. Work at the large table, standing desk, bar, in the lounge or wherever feels right. There is also a children’s corner for playing, building, reading, drawing and making things.

And sometimes nothing needs to be made at all. Simply sit in the lounge, have a coffee, meet people and enjoy some time. That is what we love about this idea: Wüssenswerk extends beyond the classroom door. Together with Toolziit, we are creating a place for children and adults where curiosity, creativity, work and community naturally come together.
